Chimney & Fireplace Services in Forest Hills, PA

Set among the woods, Forest Hills homes get all the benefits of the trees — and all the leaf litter, branches, and nesting critters that come with them. Roosevelt Chimney Works keeps Eastern Suburbs flues clear, capped, and safe.

Because Forest Hills is part of Allegheny County, its homes carry the particular mix of ages and styles that county is known for — well-kept older homes in a leafy established borough. Forest Hills' older homes carry masonry chimneys that reward attentive crown and mortar care. That context shapes how we approach every chimney here: we read the home first, then recommend what it actually needs.

Western Pennsylvania's freeze-thaw cycles are the defining challenge for chimneys in Forest Hills. Water works into small cracks in the crown, mortar, and brick, then freezes and expands through the winter, widening the damage a little more each year. Catching it early keeps a minor repair from becoming a major one.
